I would take the shareholders straight to the oil and gas sector and how would do I this you might just wonder and ask?
After getting a legal analysis and opinion I would change the business charter rename the company and change the trading symbols and move forward...out of the mining industry and into oil and gas.
I would issue a PR asking the 50,000+ shareholders who are interested in participating in the internal funding to contact a designated legitimate PR firm to handle the media aspects.
New companies or start ups fresh off on the drawing boards require capital and there are avenues to obtain that said capital required. High net worth individuals are called "angels" and they are highly sought after because they have the funds to inject into a new company and get it running. In return...they are issued different forms of repayment through equity positions and issued insider units of the new company.
Issue a PR that if you would be interested in participating in a prospectus for the new company and inject cash and recieve units in return of the new company please. People that hold units get paid directly from the company with profits on an annual basis.
I would make that possible to old shareholders and new investors. How often do you have a company with a rumored 40-50,000 shareholders?
I would imagine it would be successful because there is so much passion from the loyal CMKX shareholders. In essence it would create millions of dollars available to invest properly to return shareholders their investment through the old and new company.
I would vote to change the cusip number, corporate charter, move it out of Nevada, chnage name and a new trading symbol.
I seriously would diversify the company and if was pulling the strings if iwas deemed prudent to keep a foot in the metals/mining business then so be it. But, I would be looking at oil and gas as well and if it looked attractive jump in with both feet and acquire and grow with your base of shareholders right along with the company side by side.
Reinstate the stock and take the painful measures required to show shareholders you are willing to step forward even if it means that a reverse split will be required for the new company.
Continue through the courts for recovery if possible. But, move forward regardless on behalf of shareholders who are the biggest asset of this company. Make an appeal too them and I believe they would after studying a possible prospectus from the company that people would invest and try and recoup their stock investment which is now worthless.
If you build it they will come...50,000 shareholders and if 50% 25,000 shareholders inject $100 each at a minimum that would equal $2,500,000. Not bad for a first round of capital raising and then hold other rounds increasing the funds and the price to get in maybe up too 4 or 5 stages possibly and then cut it off.
;D
